DC partners with SCCS to help HeartKids VIC

Distribution Central has donated iPads to HeartKids Victoria for children suffering from heart disease. DC Executive Chairman, Scott Frew, recently visited the hospital and met with one of the children who received an iPad. “One of our [HeartKids’] team members found that this type of technology can drive real benefit for the kids in helping them keep up to date with their school work, which is very important in trying to shield them from as many negative, consequential impacts of their disease as possible,” said Terry Hopkins, CEO of HeartKids Victoria. Chris Palmer, Director at Southern Cross Computer Systems, originally reached out to DC on behalf of HeartKids, after experiencing the support of HeartKids VIC first hand.

Martin Sinclair joins the DC QLD Team

Martin Sinclair has joined the Distribution Central team in Brisbane as Channel Account Manager for its NetWorld Systems and Unity Systems business units. His appointment closely follows that of Jasa Rakus, who Sales Engineer based in the Brisbane office. Between them they bring more than 25 years experience in the IT industry to the DC team. "Our QLD branch was established in 2005 and the recent growth of the Brisbane-based team is to ensure that we continue to provide our unique sales and technical channel services direct to our channel partners in QLD and NT,” said Nick Verykios, Managing Director of Distribution Central.
